Beautiful and haunting. The ribbon used as restraints gives me the feeling of control and manipulation. But that the control was either relinquished or is no longer being fought against. The use of color combines the purity of the white with the deep reds, which makes me think of lost innocence or raw feelings bubbling up from a calm surface. Overall it is a very emotive piece.
